Cacti Photography: horse and rider portraits

Hello from Cacti: we provide Photography horse and rider portraits to farm and event coverage, sessions are tailored to preserve meaningful moments with a natural, documentary style.

Hi! I’m Melina, the “person” behind Cacti Photography. I’m a 20 something, Jesus loving, coffee obsessed, horse junkie. I grew up on a small dairy farm and have spent most of my life around horses and cattle.
Photography has been a part of my life as long as I can remember and officially became my job in 2021. All things rodeo and farm related are my passion. Showcasing the western/farming way of life and capturing who you are and what makes you unique, is always my goal.

Why do I love photography? Photography to me, is an expression of who God is and the amazing people and things He has made. It’s about capturing a story and moments you’ll never get back. From saying: “I do,” to holding your first baby, watching your kiddo break their personal records or rope their first calf. To dancing in the sunshine or capturing the likeness of a loved one who may not be here next year. That’s why I love photography and do what I do.
